Alina Franchuk and her four-year-old son Dmytryk have been attending the Safe Space since June 2025. During this time, they haven’t missed a single session. “I really wanted my little boy to make friends, learn to communicate with his peers, and grow. We tried different clubs, but every time I tried to persuade him to go again, I only heard: ‘No, I don’t want to,’” recalls Alina. Everything changed thanks to a friend who invited them to attend a session. That’s when their new story began. At first, it was difficult to convince Dmytryk, but the next day his mother didn’t hear the usual “no.” Day by day, the boy started visiting the space more confidently. “I can see my Dmytryk becoming braver – now he confidently opens the door to the space himself. And most importantly, he truly enjoys all the activities our facilitators conduct. Our mornings start with the words: ‘Mom, are we going to kindergarten today?’” Alina shares: “I’m endlessly happy that we found a place where my child is happy, feels care and warmth.
