My name is Hanna, and I would like to share my experience of participating in the project “PROFDIYA: VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND SUPPORT,” implemented by Unity Platform NGO with the support of Razom for Ukraine.

Before the war, my life was completely different. For many years, I worked as a dispatcher for a taxi service in Kharkiv. Even a year ago, I could not have imagined that I would be doing something that brings me not only income but also joy. To be honest, I was scared, confused, and unsure of how to move forward or where to find the strength to start something new.

When I learned about the project implemented by Unity Platform NGO with the support of Razom for Ukraine, I initially doubted whether I would be able to cope and master a new profession. However, the support of the trainers and the warm atmosphere helped me believe in myself.

During the training, I learned sewing skills and began creating soft toys and souvenirs. Today, my products are purchased not only in Ukraine but also abroad, including in Poland. For me, this is a great source of pride and proof that it is never too late to start over.

I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow even during wartime. Projects like this help people not give up, discover new opportunities, and continue building their lives despite all the challenges.
