Unity Platform NGO is implementing the project “Right to Safety: Strengthening the Gender-Based Violence Response System in Communities of Kharkiv Region.”
The project aims to make psychological, social, and legal support more accessible, safer, and closer to people affected by the war.
Key areas of work
confidential consultations with a psychologist, social worker, and lawyer;
mobile and remote support;
safe support points within communities;
psychosocial and informational activities;
updating referral pathways;
strengthening the capacity of local services to respond to cases of violence.
The project will cover four communities in Kharkiv region. At least 470 people will receive direct support, while more than 1,500 community residents will receive information about available services and safe ways to seek assistance.
